Start Business Verse: Mapping the Entrepreneurial Universe of Success
Charles Hernandez’s fascination with the mechanics of success began in the high-pressure environment of the Harvard Business School (HBS). While his peers were focused on landing roles at top-tier hedge funds, Charles was captivated by the "Case Method"—specifically, how small, disruptive ideas could expand into entire market ecosystems. He began to view the global market not just as a series of transactions, but as a vast, expanding "Universe" where every entrepreneur was an explorer.
During his time at Harvard, Charles noticed a recurring barrier: the "startup vacuum." Many aspiring founders had the passion but lacked a navigational map to survive the early-stage atmospheric pressure of the business world. He spent his final year developing a framework he called the "Business Verse"—a holistic view of entrepreneurship that combined financial gravity, marketing momentum, and operational oxygen.
After graduating with his MBA, Charles moved to the burgeoning tech scene in Seattle. He spent five years as a lead incubator for a major venture capital firm, but the call to create a centralized "map" for the entrepreneurial community never faded. In late 2023, he launched Start Business Verse. His goal was to provide a 360-degree view of the startup journey, moving beyond simple advice to provide a comprehensive "multiverse" of resources.
Charles built the site to be the definitive guide for those looking to launch their own business galaxies. He utilized his Harvard network to bring in contributors who understood that in the modern economy, you don’t just start a business—you create an ecosystem. Today, Start Business Verse is recognized for its visionary approach to scaling and its ability to help founders navigate the unknown. For Charles, the "Verse" is ever-expanding, and his mission is to ensure no entrepreneur is left drifting.
